Jerald serves as the Chief Executive Officer, responsible for guiding the executive, financial and operating functions of BITS. Jerry brings 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and is a well-known industry thought leader in enterprise IT infrastructure design, security and management. Through his leadership and vision, Jerry has propelled BITS to become the company it is today.
Prior to joining BITS in 2013, Jerry led Cognizant Technology’s Infrastructure Consulting globally, helping large companies with critical infrastructure challenges. Before that, he was head of Infrastructure, Networking, and Security research globally for META Group, where he created new services and markets for virtualization and cloud computing. His years in the industry span multiple experiences varying from technical, sales & marketing, senior management and industry analyst positions. He has also taught Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at West Point, and conducted electrical engineering research the Army Research Labs. Jerry holds a BSEE from the United States Military Academy and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
Jerry currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey and enjoys spending time with his wife Kathleen, their two daughters and his grandchildren. In addition to his role as the CEO of BITS, Jerry is an avid golfer. He is also a talented musician and enjoys reading and art.
Head of Sales/Chief Marketing Officer
Christian serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Sales at BITS where he is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing operations including strategies, market development, communications, public relations, brand development, speaking engagements, and partner programs. At BITS, Christian has helped educate hundreds of bank executives on why their participation in strategic technology decisions are required to mitigate risk, remain competitive, and attract next generation customers. With more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the telecommunications and IT industry, his experience has contributed to a deep understanding of how to communicate complex technology solutions to executives and key decision makers.
Prior to joining BITS in 2005, Christian led the marketing strategies and business development efforts at a telecommunications carrier, catering to client services. Other experiences include holding a strategic position at Giant Bear, a wireless application services provider (later acquired by InfoSpace). Christian holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Lund in Sweden, and earned a full tuition scholarship to the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he received his MBA.
Born and raised in Sweden, Christian currently resides in New Jersey and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in his time off. He also keeps himself busy with tennis, soccer, skiing, water sports, and improving on his golf game.
Mari joined BITS in May 2010 and is the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, management, payroll and budgeting. As a member of the leadership team, Mari brings more than 18 years of financial management and business operations experience to the organization.
Prior to joining BITS, Mari held various positions as Accounting Manager of High Industries in Lancaster, PA and Cost Accountant/ Accounting Manager/Controller of Engel Machinery Inc. in York, PA. She has also worked as an external auditor in one of the national auditing firms as well as an internal auditor of Carpenter Technology Inc., specializing in financial, compliance and operational audits. She graduated from University of the Philippines with a B.S. degree in Accountancy. Mari is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA); and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Mari currently resides in New Jersey, with her daughter and her mother. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling with family and friends.
Ryan has been a member of the BITS Team, since the company started in 2005. As Chief Technology Officer, Ryan’s focus is to provide leadership in developing innovative and collaborative solutions that provide our customers with solutions to grow and optimize their business. Ryan’s responsibilities include defining BITS technology strategy from the development of new products and services to the care and feeding of the machine that services our customers today. Ryan and his experienced Technology Team are continually collaborating with customers to optimize and develop solutions.
Over the years, Ryan has been involved in many functions within BITS, from operations to sales support. His wide range of technical and operational related skills include Six Sigma and ITIL, to assure operational best practices and continuous process improvement. His technology career started while serving in the U.S. Navy, onboard the USS Mitscher (DDG-57). As an information systems technician, Ryan was responsible for ensuring information and telecommunications systems were always at the peak of operational effectiveness.
Ryan, a native of Palmyra, PA, continues to give back to the Veteran community, supporting local Veteran organizations. When Ryan is not spending time with his wife and two children, he can likely be found in the gym, on the golf course, or playing ice hockey.
Daniel Myers serves as Vice President and leads Operations. In this position, he is responsible for the daily operation of BITS including the Implementation Department, the Technical Support Center, Data Center & Facilities, and Marketing Operations. He also manages third party relationships with partners that deliver components of the BITS solution.
Dan brings 28 years of experience in the telecommunications and managed network services industries, in roles of such as operations activation, product management, product development, business development, product marketing, and relationship management. Prior to BITS, Dan held these roles with companies such as Cognizant Technology Solutions, AT&T, and Bell Atlantic. Dan holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with a Marketing Concentration from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University.
Dan currently resides in Westfield, NJ with his wife and children. He enjoys spending time with his family; sailing in the warm weather and following his children’s athletic activities throughout the year. Dan has been very active in the Westfield Boosters Association, an organization that supports high school athletics financially for equipment, coaching, and training, and assists the athletes by providing college scholarships.
Tom serves as the Director of Data Center Operations where he is responsible for maintaining our BITS Datacenters as well as all BITS office facilities. Tom’s responsibility includes maintaining the physical plant of our datacenters to ensure that they run at optimal efficiency for our customers. Tom is also responsible for maintaining relationships with 3rd party providers that support data center operations.
Tom has over 20 years of engineering experience in Government, Public and Private sectors. Tom began his career in the Government Defense Industry. He has worked on the Strategic Defense Initiative and the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Systems program in the capacity of Radar Systems-Engineering Group, later moving on to Sikorsky Aircraft . Throughout his career, Tom has transitioned into various industries including Aviation and Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing and Automation, Information Technology, Telecommunications and Investment Banking. Since 1998, he has been in the Information Technology industry with an extensive background designing and building business infrastructures and data centers. Tom has a Master’s of Science Degree in Cybersecurity from Fordham University in NY and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Technology from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury NY.
Tom currently resides in Garden City, NY with his wife and two children. He enjoys volunteering, serving on the Board of Education and spending time with his family.
Director of Customer Care
Nancie joined BITS in August 2013 as the Director of Customer Care. In this role, she is responsible for managing all aspects of customer relationships from customer growth and retention to billing. Her years as a telecommunications consultant have equipped her to understand customer’s’ business model and provide product solutions that align with strategic objectives.
Nancie brings more than 25 years’ of telecom management and consultative experience to the organization. Prior to joining BITS, Nancie held various positions as telecommunications manager of Inspira Health Network and senior telecom engineer at Children’s Hospital of PA. Nancie has represented both Dimension Data and TekSystems as a consultant where her projects included the successful integration of a Nurse Call application to wireless handheld phones and the launch of intelligent skills based routing for critical clinical environments. Nancie holds a degree in Liberal Arts but found her calling in the telecommunications industry.
Nancie currently resides in New Jersey, with her son and two grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, dancing, swimming, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Supriya Kulkarni serves as the Director of Collaboration Engineering at BITS. In this role, she is responsible for the Collaboration product portfolio development, as well as the strategy and execution into Operations. She also works with the customers to design and implement custom Contact Center solutions tailored for the banking industry.
Prior to joining BITS, Supriya worked at ShoreTel and One Communications as a Voice Network Engineer. Supriya holds Bachelors in Electronics and Communication and Master’s Degree in Telecommunication from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, Supriya holds a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) – Collaboration certification and Six Sigma Certification for continuous improvement.
Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Supriya currently resides in New Jersey. She loves hosting parties at her house for family and friends and enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband.
Dave serves as the Director of Business Development for the New England territory. Dave is responsible for representing BITS for sales and account management functions to customers across the Northeast. Dave brings 34 years of telecommunication experience to BITS.
Prior to joining BITS, Dave spent 13 years working directly for Cisco Systems as a Consulting Systems Engineer focusing on Cisco Voice and Collaboration Solutions. Dave was also part of a national advisory committee within Cisco working with Cisco Business Units on developing and rolling out new products in the collaboration space. Prior to Cisco Systems, Dave spent 14 years working for Siemens/ROLM as an Advisory Systems Engineer in telecommunications.
Dave resides in Sandy Hook, CT where he enjoys spending time with family and friends participating in a wide range of outdoor hobbies.
Ernie serves as the Technical Support Center (TSC) manager. He is accountable for driving customer satisfaction and leading the team to strive for all work to be completed in a correct and timely manner. He works cross-functionally between departments to identify new initiatives, product enhancements, and process optimization.
Ernie started with BITS in 2013, working as an engineer in the Technical Support Center. He was promoted to the Product Development Team where he developed new products such as voice self-help and call recording. Prior to joining BITS, he worked at AT&T as an Executive Escalation Case Manager in their Managed Internet Services department. Ernie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Rutgers University.
Ernie enjoys spending his free time with his wife and kids, and his Sundays watching the New York Football Giants.
Tasha, Director of Human Resources, joined BITS in 2006. She is responsible for Human Resource functions such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, and talent management. Tasha is also responsible for office management at BITS, including office administration staff, event planning, and office vendor management. Tasha uses her broad industry background and her Predictive Index (PI) Certification to develop our strong employee culture, implement effective organizational practices, and develop and recruit new talent.
Tasha brings over 14 years of experience in Human Resource and Office Management. She holds a degree in Business Management and Accounting, but found her passion in Human Resources. Tasha earned her Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification as well as her Human Resources Professional Development (HRPD) certification from Farleigh Dickinson University. She is also a member of the Gateway Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Tasha continues to give back to her community. She volunteers her time to New Jersey Cares within their Hunger Helpers Organization in Newark, NJ. Tasha is a Dress for Success volunteer where she helps women find jobs and she mentors young high school girls to prepare for careers and work-place life. Tasha resides in New Jersey with her husband Sean. She enjoys spending time with her family, hosting social events, and traveling.
Scott joined BITS in April of 2018 after over twenty years in the Information Technology field. In his role as Director of Business Development – Midwest, Scott has responsibility for new sales opportunities, Customer Care, and pre-installation activities. Most especially, Scott is focused on communicating the BITS value proposition.
Scott’s experiences in the Information Technology field spans over 20 years. He has managed data migration projects with companies that are Fortune 100, as well as working for both IBM and DELL VAR’s in the Managed Services Provider and Managed Project area. This diverse background gives Scott a unique perspective in speaking to all the stakeholders in a Community Bank. Scott holds IBM, Dell, EMC, Microsoft and Cisco sales certifications.
Scott currently resides in Iowa where he likes to take advantage of all things outdoors, such as golf, hunting, and fishing. He has also participated in triathlons in the last few years and successfully completed a half-Ironman in Austin, Texas.
